NCAA Odds: Would Frank Haith Maintain His Perfect Record's vs Oklahoma

Missouri Tigers is off to its best start since the 1981-82 season at 13-0 and is one of only four remaining unbeaten teams in the country. The No. 6 Tigers put their perfect mark on the line when they host Oklahoma Sooners in the Big 12 Conference opener for both teams.

New coach Frank Haith is pushing all the right buttons in his first year with the program as the Tigers and No. 5 Baylor are considered the co-favorites in a fairly top-heavy Big 12. The Sooners - projected by many to finish near the bottom of the conference - have only two losses through the first two months of the season, but their most notable win is against either Arkansas or Washington State.

The Tigers have opened as 13-point favorites on SBG Global Sportsbook’s Live NCAA Basketball Odds.

Oklahoma Sooners (10-2): The Sooners are coming off an 83-63 victory over Northwestern State to close the non-conference slate with a 7-0 mark at home. This trip to Mizzou Arena will be their toughest test of the season by far, though. Junior guard Steven Pledger has been Oklahoma’s most effective offensive star, scoring in double digits in all 11 games while shooting a blazing 55 percent from the field. Pledger leads the team with 18.8 points per game, while Andrew Fitzgerald chips in 12.3 points.

Missouri Tigers (13-0): The Tigers certainly had to work for their 13th win of the season, a 75-68 nail-biter at Old Dominion. Marcus Denmon scored 17 of his 19 points after halftime, including a dagger 3-pointer with 61 seconds left that put Missouri ahead for good. Denmon is third in the Big 12 at 18.7 points per game, while Kim English (15.4) is sixth and big man Ricardo Ratliffe (14.2) is eighth. The Tigers are second nationally in offense at 86.2 points.
