If No. 9 Missouri Tigers wants to win the Big 12, it has to figure out how to win on the road. The Tigers get another shot when they travel to Ames to take on Iowa State Cyclones.
Last year, Missouri finished 1-7 in conference road games, the only win coming against the Cyclones, 76-70. The Tigers were dismantled at Kansas State on Saturday, dropping their first game, 75-59. Meanwhile, Iowa State went into College Station and stunned the Aggies, 74-50.

The Tigers have opened as 3.5-point favorites on SBG Global Sportsbook’s Live NCAA Basketball Odds.
Missouri Tigers (14-1): Missouri’s lack of depth inside was exploited by Kansas State as the Tigers were outscored in the paint 46-18. With only seven scholarship players, Ricardo Ratliffe and Steve Moore were forced to play with foul trouble. They're the only Tigers taller than 6-foot-6. Normally, Missouri’s hot-shooting guards cover up any deficiencies, but the Tigers shot just 32.7 percent against Kansas State, including 7 of 24 from beyond the arc. Kim English and Marcus Denmon have combined for 89 3-pointers this season, making Missouri one of only two teams in the country to have two players with at least 43 made treys.
Iowa State Cyclones (12-3): Iowa State struggled early, but has rattled off seven wins in a row and is 2-0 in the Big 12 for the first time since 2007. The Cyclones' success can be attributed to a slew of transfers who have settled into their roles. Minnesota transfer Royce White leads the team in points (12.9), rebounds (9.3) assists (4.2) and blocks (1.3). He recorded a triple-double in the win over Texas A&M. Michigan State transfer Chris Allen chips in 12.4 points per game, while Penn State transfer Chris Babb averages 10.5. Last year’s team went 3-13 in the Big 12.
1. Missouri has won the last seven meetings. This season, Iowa State ended a seven-game losing streak to Texas and an eight-game skid to Texas A&M.
2. Iowa State has only started 3-0 in the Big 12 once (2000).
3. No player on Missouri’s roster has ever lost to Iowa State.
