NBA Playoff Betting 2011 amazes me. It’s amazing what you can do in less than 2 seconds. You can both come and go whether it pertains to sex, life or basketball.
I think San Antonio and Memphis experienced all of these things on opposite ends of the spectrum in Game 5. Game 6 should be off the charts and test the mettle of the fading champions against the spirit of the inexperienced newcomers.
- San Antonio Spurs (63-24) at Memphis Grizzlies (49-38)
When: Friday, April 29 at 9:05 ET ESPN
Where: FedExForum (18,119) – Memphis, Tennessee
NBA Playoff Betting Line:
San Antonio Spurs (46-39 ATS) +3 (ML +130)
Memphis Grizzlies (56-30 ATS) -3 (ML -150)
Over/Under Total – 189.5
Memphis thought they were looking might grizzly with a 3 point lead and a mere 1.7 seconds left in Game 5 holding a 3-1 game lead over the mighty San Antonio Spurs. They’re looking Teddy Bear-ISH now.
The question now may be are they getting too old to take it all the way? The Spurs had 15 more wins in this year’s regular season which comes out to 33% more. You don’t have to be a statistician to know that is HUGE!
The Spurs know how to win games. But do they have 2 in a row against the Grizzlies in them? The NBA Playoff Betting Line says no.
Memphis is attempting to become only the second eight seed to whack a number one seed since they let this usual mismatch in seeds go to a seven game series.
Zach Randolph showed his frustration and anticipation after the Grizzlies film session Thursday afternoon. “I wish we could play right now,” exclaimed their top scorer. I believe he really meant it.
Zach had another great game with 26 points and 11 rebounds in Game 5 and scored the last 6 points of regulation. He just needed ONE MORE POINT!
The bigger problem here is going to come down to experience and pressure in Game 6 and Game 7. YEAH, that’s right I said GAME 7 NBA Playoff Betting fans!
The Spurs are 0-5 when facing a 3-1 deficit since Tim Duncan came to town. The difference here is that one of these teams has been in this position many many times. This team doesn’t reside in Tennessee y’all.
Manu Ginobili said “It’s going to be so hard.” He goes on about the Memphis arena being on fire with a chance to beat down the Number 1 seed. Nice try Manu. Are you trying to sway they NBA Playoff Betting Pointspread?
This is just a professional ball player demonstrating his subtle experience at psyching out his opponent. The funny thing here is that I think it’s going to work.
