NBA Picks: Can The Spurs And Thunder Steal NBA Wins On The Road - Manu Ginobili

Heading into Saturday’s NBA Playoff Betting matchups, the only thing that has been certain this postseason is uncertainty. Every series seems to be hotly contested, and most have had games that could go either way.

So with Western Conference Game 3’s highlight Saturday’s slate, who should be your picks?

Western Conference Playoffs Game 3

No. 1 San Antonio Spurs at No. 8 Memphis Grizzlies
Series Tied at 1-1 (Memphis 2-0 ATS)
Saturday, April 23: 7:30 p.m.
Live from FedEx Forum, Memphis, TN

BetUS Sportsbook Betting Odds:
San Antonio: +2
Memphis: -2
Total: 192

Let’s start in Memphis, where the surprising, shocking and easy to enjoy Grizzlies are looking to take a 2-1 series lead over Western Conference super-power San Antonio. Given what we saw Thursday night, it won’t be easy.

After losing Game 1 of this series without All-Star Manu Ginobili, he returned for Game 2, and sparked a 93-87 win. The Argentine superstar was one of five players who scored in double figures, with his 17 points leading the Spurs. Tim Duncan and Richard Jefferson each chipped in 16 as well.

However, when it comes to our Saturday NBA Playoff Betting wagers, we’re actually going to take Memphis.

After taking Game 1, it would’ve been easy to assume that the Grizzlies would get beaten decisively by an angry Spurs team in Game 2, especially with the return of Ginobili. However, to their credit Memphis held tough, trailing by just two with seconds to go, before some late San Antonio free throws sealed the win. Well back at home in FedEx Forum, we expect the Grizzlies to steal a win here. It could be an especially big game for forward Zach Randolph, who was quiet in Game 2 with just 11 points. After scoring 20 a game on the season, it’s hard to see him struggling like that again.

The Spurs may have a high seed and veteran savvy, but it is the Grizzlies who will take Game 3 in Memphis. Of every NBA Playoff Betting pick to make this weekend, they’re the one to make.

Western Conference Playoffs Game 3

No. 4 Oklahoma City Thunder at No. 5 Denver Nuggets
Oklahoma City Leads Series 2-0 (1-1 ATS)
Saturday, April 23: 10:00 p.m.
Live from Pepsi Arena, Denver, CO

BetUS Sportsbook Betting Odds:
Oklahoma City: +5 ½
Denver: -5 ½
Total: 204 ½

Next up, let’s stay in the Western Conference, where the Oklahoma City Thunder are looking to take a commanding 3-0 series lead. And if Game 3 is anything like Game 2, Denver fans should be worried.

That’s because in Game 2, Oklahoma City came out and blitzed Denver, taking a 16 point lead at the half, before cruising to a 106-89 victory. As usual, the Thunder’s Kevin Durant led the way with 23 points, after scoring 41 in Game 1.

But much like in San Antonio-Memphis, it is the home team Nuggets who we expect to get the NBA Playoff Betting victory here.

Say what you want about their long-term chances in this series, it’s hard to deny that Game 2 was an aberration for the Nuggets. That’s the only way to describe things, as a team which scored 107.5 points per game in the regular season was held to just 86, on 39 percent shooting Wednesday night. Simply put, we’ll see a better effort Denver.

Back at home, and after taking their lumps in Game 2, look for the Nuggets to be re-energized and refocused in Game 3.

They might not win the series, but Denver will cruise to a Game 3 NBA Playoff Betting win. Take them this weekend.
