April 10 – NBA Games

** Records and stats not counting Friday and Saturday games.

- Chicago Bulls (58-20) at Orlando Magic (50-29)
Where: Amway Center, Orlando, Florida
When: 1:00 pm EST

BetUS Sportsbook NBA Odds: Chicago +2

Analysis: The Chicago Bulls battle the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday night before traveling to Orlando on Sunday to take on the Magic. Chi-Town is 9 and 1 straight up in the online sportsbook in their last 10 games. They’ve gone only 2 and 4 against the spread in their last 6 games. The Bulls are 23 and 15 against the spread overall this season on the road. They beat Orlando 89 to 81 the last time the two teams met and should be just as tough on Sunday even though this game occurs in Mickey’s town.

The Magic is only 2 and 8 against the spread in its last 10 games. Orlando has gone 1 and 6 against the spread in its last 7 games. I just don’t see the Magic beating the Bulls straight up, much less covering the spread as a likely favorite.

- Boston Celtics (54-24) at Miami Heat (54-24)
Where: American Airlines Arena, Miami, Florida
When: 3:30 pm EST

BetUS Sportsbook NBA Odds: Miami -4 ½

Analysis: The Miami Heat hosts the Boston Celtics on Sunday as a probable 3 ½ to 5 ½ point NBA betting favorite in the BetUS Sportsbook. The Men in Green have gone 3 and 2 straight up in their last 5 games. They’ve also gone 3 and 2 against the spread in their last 5 but are coming off of a horrible 16 point loss to the Chicago Bulls, 81 to 97, as 5 points dogs. Miami isn’t a lock in this game, but it’s obvious that the Celtics haven’t exactly folded Nenad Krstic and Jeff Green into their plans.

In fact, one might argue that holding onto Kendrick Perkins might have been the best way for the Celtics to get back to the NBA Championship. Boston and the Heat are going to have a tough time beating the Bulls in a 7 game series as it is. Failing to gain the second seed in the Eastern Conference behind the Bulls could make things ultra-tough, so this game is very important on Sunday.

- Oklahoma City Thunder (52-26) at Los Angeles Lakers (55-23)
Where: Staples Center, Los Angeles, California
When: 9:30 pm EST

BetUS Sportsbook NBA Odds: Lakers -4 ½

Analysis: The Los Angeles Lakers are riding a 3 games NBA odds on the moneyline losing streak going into their Friday night contest versus the Portland Trailblazers. The trends in that game suggests that L.A. might lose its fourth game in a row. The Lakers shouldn’t lose to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday, however. OKC lost 87 to 90 the last time the two teams played and L.A. definitely steps it up at home against teams that they believe might challenge them in the Western Conference Playoffs.

The Thunder is one of those teams. OKC is only 1 and 3 ATS in their last 4 games overall and 3-6-1 against the spread in their last 10 games overall. If the Thunder isn’t absolutely on top of their game, then L.A. should dominate on Sunday. If the Lakers lose to Portland on Friday night, they figure to be even more pumped up to put a beat down on Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook on April 10.
