NBA Basketball Series Odds and Picks: Western Conference Playoffs

I can totally understand that March Madness Brackets don’t seem to last long enough, so I’ve got your NBA Playoffs Picks just in time to make back that Mad Cash.
There is a lot of quacking going on out there from every writer, talk-show host and barber about the upsets that are going down in the NBA Playoffs. Don’t listen to them at least until the second round.
Western Conference First Round NBA Playoffs Picks
San Antonio Spurs (-500) over Memphis Grizzlies (+350) - Manu Ginobili had an MRI confirming his sprain and remains doubtful against Memphis to open this series. As long as he’s back for game 2 or 3, Spurs have no problem.
OKC Thunder (-210) over Denver Nuggets (+165) – The Nuggets were on a sugar high after Caramelo took his moods and AT-TIT-TUDE to a place where he’ll get put in his place. OKC has a better interior defense now thanks to their friends in Boston.
Dallas Mavericks (-210) over Portland Trail Blazers (+165) – Dallas has 55 wins people – give them a freakin break. After Dirk, it’s confusing for the Blazers. Which mediocre player do they try to go after?
Portland is not the team Dallas wanted to draw and Dallas is definitely the team Portland WANTED to draw. This is the one EVERYBODY is picking for an upset. Tell them to SHUT IT!
Los Angeles Lakers (-2500) over New Orleans Hornets (+900) - Chris Paul would have to show why he hasn’t been the same guy potential-wise. Maybe he’s been resting his knee and his leg and his arm…
Western Conference Semifinals NBA Playoffs Picks
Oklahoma City Thunder over San Antonio Spurs – It was just a matter of time for the Spurs with the toughest route to the NBA. The bigger problem here is the team they’re playing that is heading to the NBA Finals.
Los Angeles Lakers over Dallas Mavericks – This is a series matchup we’ve been waiting for since 1988. We’re finally getting our Dirk and Kobe matchup for a seven game series. Unfortunately for Dirk, this one will only last 5 games.
Western Conference Final NBA Playoffs Picks
Oklahoma City Thunder over Los Angeles Lakers – The Los Angeles (see ya) Laters waited just a bit too long to flip their playoff switch to on. The old guys finally tried to slow down the machine too much for the young and rolling Thunder double strike of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook.
My Eastern Conference picks also have the NBA Championship Pick. I’m sure Oklahoma City will be thanking Boston for that gift, the missing piece of the puzzle Kendrick Perkins for making my NBA Playoffs Picks correct.
