Kansas Jayhawks looks to remain atop the Big 12 Conference on Saturday when it hosts Iowa State Cyclones at Allen Fieldhouse.

Tenth ranked Kansas shares first place in the league with undefeated Baylor and is 3-0 in conference play for the 15th time in the 16 years.

The Jayhawks have won 12 in a row over the Cyclones. Iowa State, coming off a tough 76-69 loss to No. 9 Missouri at home on Wednesday, last enjoyed a win over Kansas in 2005, a 63-61 overtime victory in Lawrence.

Iowa State Cyclones (12-4): Royce White leads the Cyclones in scoring (13.1), rebounding (9.1) and assists (4.3) and is looking to become the first player to lead Iowa State in all three categories since current head coach Fred Hoiberg led the team in 1993-94. White became the fourth player in Cyclone history to record a triple double when he had 10 points, a career-high 18 rebounds, and 10 assists against Texas A&M last week. Three other Cyclones average in double digits; Chris Allen (12.7), Scott Christopherson (11.1), and Chris Babb (10.4).

Kansas Jayhawks (13-3): Junior forward Thomas Robinson is an unquestioned All-American and Player of the Year candidate. He is the only player in the Big 12 averaging a double-double; 17.6 points and 12 rebounds. He has two double-doubles in three conference games, just missing the third against Oklahoma when he had 18 points and nine rebounds. Guard Tyshawn Taylor is second on the team in scoring at 14.8 points and averages a team-best 5.1 assists, while Travis Releford averages 10.2 points, including a team-high 18.7 in three league games. Releford scored a career-high 28 last week against Oklahoma.

NCAA Basketball Betting

1. A Kansas win over Iowa State would give the Jayhawks a 4-0 league mark for the fifth time under head coach Bill Self and for the 12th time in the 16-year history of the Big 12.

2. Iowa State is one of three teams in Division I with four players that have made 25 3-pointers; Babb (43), Allen (34), Christopherson (28), and Tyrus McGee (25). The Cyclones lead the Big 12 in 3-point field goals per game (9.1), which is ninth in the nation.

3. Kansas is 87-15 in the 102 games played against Iowa State in Lawrence. The Jayhawks have lost only eight conference games in Allen Fieldhouse in the history of the Big 12 and three of those defeats have come at the hands of the Cyclones.
