College Basketball Vegas Odds: Texas Longhorns at Baylor Bears

After back-to-back losses to Kansas and Missouri abruptly ended Baylor Bears' undefeated start to the season, the seventh-ranked Bears bounced back with a nice road victory at Oklahoma on Tuesday.
Before facing Kansas and Missouri again in the early part of February, Baylor has a three-game stretch of winnable games starting with a home date against Texas.
The Texas Longhorns are in the middle of the pack in the Big 12, but several freshmen are starting to show some signs of progress.
Texas has faced Baylor more times than any other opponent in its history and has won 26 of 30 meetings under coach Rick Barnes.

Texas Longhorns (13-7): As with any young team, Barnes is having trouble finding consistency on his roster, which features six freshmen among nine main contributors. In the Longhorns' three Big 12 wins, they're holding opponents to only 51.7 points per game. In their four losses, opponents are averaging 81.8 points. "The one thing you want is consistency," Barnes said earlier this week. "You want to know what you're going to get."
Baylor Bears (18-2): Sensational sophomore Perry Jones III has three double-doubles this season, and all three have come in Big 12 Conference play. In the Bears' latest win, a 77-65 victory at Oklahoma, Jones III led the team with 21 points and 12 rebounds. The inside-out duo of Jones III and point guard Pierre Jackson is really starting to click, as Jackson has 52 assists in his last five games. Jones III and Jackson combined for eight points in a two-minute stretch against the Sooners that sealed Baylor's eighth victory away from home this season.
1. Baylor has been ranked in the top 10 for a school-record 10 consecutive weeks.
2. The Bears are first in the Big 12 in 3-point percentage (.414), while the Longhorns are only seventh (.336).
3. Texas senior JCovan Brown is the conference’s leading scorer at 19.1 points per game.
