A pair of ranked rivals will meet on the floor at the Phog Allen Fieldhouse on Wednesday night as the No. 14 Kansas Jayhawks host the No. 23 Kansas State Wildcats in college basketball betting action.

The Wildcats enter Wednesday's contest riding the longer winning streak, as they've grabbed six consecutive victories en route to records of 11-1 straight up and 5-3 against the spread. The OVER/UNDER is 5-3 in Wildcats games so far this season.

Against Howard last time out Kansas State picked up an easy 82-46 home win as Rodney McGruder poured in 14 points and Will Spradling added 13 points. Jamar Samuels was good for 10 points and eight rebounds for the Wildcats on the day.

The Jayhawks have won a modest three games in a row to sit with records of 10-3 straight up and 6-6 against the spread so far this season. Kansas has also played to an OVER/UNDER mark of 4-8 through the first two months of the year.

Kansas tuned up for their game against Kansas State with an 84-58 win at home over North Dakota last time out, with Thomas Robinson leading the offense with 30 points and 21 rebounds in the victory. Tyshawn Taylor contributed 18 points in the contest.

Kansas State upset Kansas 84-68 at home as a 6-point underdog when the schools last met last February, but the Jayhawks had won the previous seven meetings between the teams. Kansas is 6-4 against the spread in its last 10 games against Kansas State.
