by Frank Martin
The Baylor Bears keeps humming along nicely through an increasingly difficult schedule, and the fourth-ranked Bears remain one of only three unbeaten teams in the country after winning at Kansas State on Tuesday night.
Baylor has now posted the first 16-game winning streak in school history, and the 16-0 start is the fifth-best for any team in Big 12 history.
Baylor will look to continue its hot start against Oklahoma State, which is coming off a home win over rival Oklahoma on Monday.
The Oklahoma State Cowboys lead the all-time series 50-17, but the Bears have won the previous five matchups at the Ferrell Center.

SBG Global Sportsbook currently have the Bears listed as 13½-point favorites versus the Cowboys.
Oklahoma State Cowboys (9-7): Freshman LeBryan Nash tied a career-high with 21 points to lead Oklahoma State past rival Oklahoma in a 72-65 home victory on Monday. The talent is evident in Nash, who has topped 20 points four times this season. But the gifted youngster has also been prone to inconsistency, with six games in single digit scoring, including five with six points or less. Brian Williams, another freshman, has emerged the last four games, scoring 45 points over that stretch after totaling only 42 points combined in the first 12 games of his career.
Baylor Bears (16-0): The Bears have perhaps the most talented frontcourt in the country, with six contributors all listed at 6-7 or taller, but it's been the play of guards Pierre Jackson and Brady Heslip that has really taken the Bears to another level. Jackson notched his first career double-double with 10 points and 11 assists in Baylor's 75-73 win at Kansas State, and he has 18 assists in the last two games. Heslip is averaging 10.6 points and has been deadly from long range, leading the Big 12 with 2.94 made 3-pointers per game.
1. Baylor is the only Division I school in the nation with undefeated teams in both men’s and women’s basketball.
2. Oklahoma State has held eight opponents to under 60 points this season, posting a 6-2 record in those games.
3. The Bears are hitting 40.4 percent of their 3-pointers, tops in the Big 12.
BASKETBALL PREDICTION: Bears 74, Cowboys 59.
